It took us FOREVER to figure out where he learned it. Then one day as we were playing Lego Star Wars III we noticed that is what the storm troopers do when they take orders. They salute (or for Xanders 5 year old brain grab their helmets) and say "Yes sir!" And thus was born "Yes sir, holding my helmet".
Another one of my favorites is I always tell Xander that he "is the most favorite Xander I have ever had." To which he now replies "and your the best mom I ever had." Then he runs and gives me a huge hug! Melts my heart!
