California 2013

So our family just got back from a fabulous (and much needed) trip to So. Cal.  It was a blast!  We did the Southern California City Pass (1 day at Sea World, 1 day at Universal Studios and 3 days at Disneyland).  It was a GREAT deal, and we had a lot of fun.

This was Xander at the park.  He LOVED being in charge of the map and deciding where we were going, and how we needed to get there (a boy after his mothers heart)

Xanders favorite thing was the Jedi Training Academy.  They have volunteers come out of the audience, train them how to be Jedi's.  Then Darth Vader and Darth Maul come up out of the ground and they fight them.  You should check out the videos's.

 We waited in the long line to go on Splash Mountain.  We finally get on the ride and are moving through the water, when the ride stops.  After about 10 minutes of sitting there, an attendant comes and takes us through the back rooms and out.  Here is the only picture I have of Splash Mountain.

It was a really fun trip.  We had a great time and, as always, it renewed our spirits and rejuvenated our souls.  Can't wait for the next one.
