So last night we had it planned to go out to dinner and bowling with our friends Colby and Denise O'Very. About 15 minutes before we were going to go and meet them, my sister Emily called. She said she was in West Jordan and didn't have anything to do that night, and wondered if we wanted a babysitter. Not wanting to turn that down, we jumped at the opportunity to get out without the kids (they have a 1 1/2 year old).
We go out to dinner with the kids (Emily was busy until after dinner), then bring the kids back to our place and put them down for the night. We go out and go bowling, finishing around 10. Then we realize we don't have to go home, and want to stay out. We couldn't think of anything to do. So we ended up just driving around, not wanting to go home, because we didn't have to. Finally around 11:30 we gave up trying to find something to do, and just went home.
How lame are we. We finally get a night out, and we couldn't think of anything to do. Sigh. It makes me realize how boring our lives are.

LOL! That's so funny! You could have gone to a movie or something. Or even gone up the canyon and made out... But it sounds like the rest of the evening was fun! How sweet of your sister to offer to babysit!

How nice! Jon and I are still waiting to have a night out on our own without the kids. We havn't had a real date since before Logan was born! Man I need to get out of the house LOL.
LOL! This happens to Bryan and me all the time. I keep looking at my watch to see if it is time to go home when we have our date nights. Not that many of them really, but when we do have them, I can't stop thinking about Spencer and if he is ok.
