For Xander's B-day his Grandma sent him $4 (since he turned 4). He really wanted to get a Mr. Freeze toy for his Batcave, but we couldn't find one. He was so patient and instead of buying something else, he just waited until we found it! He was sooo excited when we found him, that he insisted we go home right then (instead of staying and playing in the toy store), just so he could play with him in the Batcave. Thanks Grandma! He loves his present!
This year, I am sooooo ready for Christmas!!! So today (and last night) Xander and I put up the Christmas tree. You see last year (when Jared was still employed) we bought a new Christmas tree in the after Christmas 80% off sale. So our brand new 7.5 foot Christmas tree only cost us $30. Plus, I figured I would need more ornaments to go on our tree, so I purchased the ENTIRE 101 Dalmations set on e-bay for $40.
These two new items have been sitting in our basement all year, egging me on for Christmas. Finally I couldn't resist. It is officially 1 month away. So here are the pictures:

Here is the ENTIRE 101 Dalmatians set. (Quick story behind these; When I was 16 and worked at McDonalds, the happy meal toys that Christmas was these 101 Dalmatian christmas tree ornaments. I collected roughly 20 of them, and have used them as my Christmas tree ornaments for the last 14 years. I really liked them because they were kid friendly and sooo cute. So I was STOKED to find the whole set on e-bay).

Merry Christmas! We put up our tree last week. Wanna enjoy it before we leave.
Oh I love christmas!!! Your tree is so pretty and I LOVE the 101 Dalmation ornaments! I've never had a tree with a theme but I think it would be fun! We bought our first christmas tree a couple weeks ago and we had to put it up bc Zoe was so excited! We are going to decorate it on friday though and put out all the other decorations. I'm excited!

We won't be putting up our tree and decorations until I get home from training on Dec 9th.
Today it was 72 degrees outside, which means there will be no snow for us this Christmas. Oh well, we can pretend right.
