Thanksgiving Weekend and Christmas Chains

Thanksgiving weekend was a busy one for us. It started with us going to my parents house for Thanksgiving, but like a dolt I only got one picture. So here it is:

The day after Thanksgiving we went to Idaho Falls/Rexburg to Jared's sister Alyssa's wedding. We stayed with my relatives in Idaho Falls, the Bradshaws, and they were fabulous hosts!!! I spent a lot of time at their house while going to Ricks College (a.k.a. BYU-Idaho) and it was great to see their family again.

Saturday was the day of the wedding, and like all weddings was filled with activities. It was fun to spend time with Jared's family, we would have loved to have spent time with them, without all the scheduled activities, but oh well.

The wedding was beautiful, and we are very excited for Alyssa. Sorry, that I didnt' get any pictures.

When we got home we made Xander a Christmas count down chain. He is sooo excited for Christmas this year. It is soooo cute! He knows what he wants, and he loves the Christmas tree thing. It is just fun!

We are trying to work on his "cheese" smile. He used to scrunch up his whole face and make a really silly (cute) cheese face. But we have modified it slightly, and this is what we get now.

Better, but at times I do miss his adorable scrunched "cheese" face.

I'm glad you had a nice Thanksgiving. It's always nice to get together with family, especially if you don't get to see them very often. I think Im gonna make a Christmas chain with Zoe. I don't know that she will really understand what its all about but she will have fun coloring/decorating the loops right?!

The holidays are so much fun and with young kids it's even better because you can relive all of your childhood memories. Xander is getting very big and he has a very handsome smile.

I love the chain idea. I made a chain when Colby was gone to countdown to him coming home. The kids loved it. I'm also soooo ready for Christmas.
