Spring Break 2010

Last week Jared had his Spring Break. I have started thinking that this college thing might not be so bad, we get every possible holiday off, spring break, a break between semesters, and huge christmas break, and almost a whole month off in August.

Anyhow, it started with Jared and Xander sleeping in the tent. Sleeping in the tent is one thing Xander LOVES to do. It was too cold to go outside, so they slept in the basement. They stayed up all night playing DS and eating donuts (they even woke up around 4 am cuz they had to pee, went back down and played more DS before going back to sleep). They did this for 2 nights.

One of the days we went on a picnic lunch to the park. We rode our bikes there. Xander took this picture of Jared and I.

Then Xander took one of Cordie (we were dog sitting her while Leisa and fam went to California.)

On St. Patty's day Jared made us a traditional corn beef dinner (thank heavens he didn't dye it green).

We made Root Beer (since st. patty's is a drinking holiday and root beer is our beer of choice)

And Jared snuck the fat pieces of the meat to Cordie (don't tell)

It was a fun week. We also went bowling, and went to IKEA. It was a great week!
