We bought a house!!!!

This weekend (after finally paying off our debt, then getting pre-approved for a home loan) we went home shopping, and found a home. We put in an offer yesterday and it was accepted last night. We close in THREE WEEKS! HOORAY!

The house is 1,500 finished square feet, and 1,500 unfinished. It is on 1/3 acre lot at the end of a cul-de-sac. We are getting a bid to see if we can include finished landscaping also. We should know that in the next day or two. The home is in Syracuse (just down the road from my Aunt Sharon and Uncle Phil). The only downside, is that the house is a taupe/red color. Which makes it look a little pink in the right light.

Anyhow, today on the way to my moms house for a BBQ (check out her blog by clicking here) we stopped by and took pictures.

Here is a ROUGH sketch of the floor plan:
Here are the pics:

OHHHH!!! That's so great!!! It's a beautiful home!!!

The best part? You're about 5-10 minutes from Joey's family... so when we go to visit we can for sure get together!!!
