Our weekend

Xander has been in a phase where he LOVES to talk to people on the phone. LOVES IT! So the other day when I was talking to Jared on his trip home from work I put in my hands free device and talked while making dinner. Well, of course, Xander wanted to talk to his daddy, so I let him have the hands free device, and he promptly put it up to his cheek, and squished it down against his shoulder (like he see's mom do with the phone). It was adorable, so I had to snap a picture of it (you can't see the hand's free device, but it is there).
Then Xander decided he wanted to cheese it up for the camera, and he gave me some really good "cheese" pictures. Here is one:

Then yesterday morning I mowed the lawn, and afterwards put a sprinkler on a dry spot and ran through with Xander (to cool off). We usually let him play with the hose when we wash things off, but this was the first time we pulled out the sprinkler for him. He LOVED this too!

We bought a new video game this week too (well, it's actually a very old one that has been out for years, but we finally bought our own copy). It is SSX Tricky. I was playing it and Xander wanted to play too. So here we are playing video games together.
Yesterday evening we had Jared's best friend, Colby O'Very and his family over for a BBQ. It was a lot of fun. We hadn't done anything with them in a VERY long time, so when they called us and said they were available we were glad to FINALLY be able to do something with them. Also, things of note, Denise (Colby's wife) announced they are expecting their 3rd child in March. Congratulations to them. And while I am at it, Congratulations to my cousin Megan who this weekend was married.
