I just couldn't take it anymore. Xander has been HORRIBLE since we picked up Oscar. He just loves to kick, hit, and chase Oscar. I have been trying so hard to get Xander to quit kicking/hitting Oscar, and he just won't. This morning he screamed all morning long because I wouldn't let him hit and kick Oscar. So, I went and put an ad on KSL.com (click here to view the add) and got an immediate flood of responses. I sold him for $100 (including kennel, leash, food, brush and dog dish), I only paid $50 (but nothing was included). The lady came and picked him up, and he is now gone. FINALLY some peace. (Makes you think, if I can't handle a dog and a kid, there is no way we are having two kids...)
Oscar was a great dog, but he and Xander were like a swirling vortex of terror. If Xander was asleep Oscar was PERFECT. But with Xander awake, it was a nightmare!!!! So, since we couldn't get rid of Xander, we got rid of the dog.
And to think, yesterday I spent the day digging up a corner of my yard for him. Oh, well. The corner looks great anway. Now I can at plant flowers there instead.

That is so sad. I am sorry. And a dog and kid are very different from two kids. But I could see how you might freak out. But I am sorry you don't have your dog anymore. How is Xander doing with him gone?
that is a hilarious add!!! wally and i are laughing so hard!
I'm so sorry! oscar was so cute. Maybe this is a sign of what would happen if you had another kid.... just kidding!
Heidi, I do not blame you for getting rid of Oscar. I dog sat a few weeks ago and concluded dogs are as much work as children and unless there was a compelling reason to the contrary I wasn't going to be too eager to ever get a dog.
Ok your ad was too funny!!! I made Joey read it and we both laughed really hard!
