Time for a Random List Update

I feel it is time for an update, but since I have nothing in particular to post about, you get a random smattering of thoughts:

1. My implant date is coming up.  I have been in a back and forth fight with the insurance company on what they say they will pay.  The latest thing is we (the Oral Surgeon) are submitting a predetermination of benefits, to which the insurance company will have to review and decide what they will pay.  It takes 3-4 weeks, and will be back about the time of my implant.  ugh!
2. The little boy I watch twice a week has had a death in the family.  His grandma (who also lives around the corner and is in my ward) died unexpectedly this week.  She was on vacation in China away from all her family.  But due to Chinese law, they can't bring the body back for a viewing.  So Pauls Dad and Grandpa flew to China to pick-up her ashes and bring them back for a memorial service.  Such a sad tragic day.
3. I HATE blogs that have music on them.  They ALWAYS make my browser crash.  I have quit going to the sites that have music on them.  So if you want me to check your blog, remove your ANNOYING songs, because I HATE restarting my browser.
4. I am excited about the future of our country.  Some historic moments are in the making.  It will be fun to see where it all leads.
5. I am curious about how all the bans on gay marriage will really work out.  I am not for gay marriage, but I do really feel for these couples who have been married 3 times, and each time the marriage gets repealed.  It has to be so frustrating for them.
6. I hate the cold.  I get so unmotivated the colder it gets.  I just want to curl up in a blanket all winter.  I think the bears had a great idea when they started hibernating.
7. I've started my Christmas shopping plans (mostly items for Jared's family, since we are doing that gift exchange over Thanksgiving).  I love shopping for gifts for people.  I think it is fun.
